Dromod Boxty Ltd, an award-winning food producer based in Dromod, Co. Leitrim are now recruiting a Food Production Operative to join their team. Reporting to the Supervisor and / or shift Manager, this role requires the operatives to perform their daily work tasks effectively and efficiently to the highest level of Hygiene, Food Safety and Health & Safety standards, meeting all targets and reporting all issues. The shift is early morning hours.

Experience:

• Food handling: 1 year (required)
• Quality control (Food): 1 year (required)
• HACCP: 1 year (required

Duties will include some or all of the following:

• Cooking product, box building, hand packing, order picking, labelling, pallet stacking and cleaning.
• Quality inspection throughout the manufacturing process is required - discarding rejected product, weighing ingredients, the running and monitoring of machines and the general housekeeping of the production line.
• Loading/unloading of produce, wrapping pallets, and checking paperwork.
• Take instruction on work to be completed from your respective Supervisor/Manager accordingly.
• Be flexible and willing to work in different areas - as requested.
• Fulfilling customer orders to the highest standards.
• Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
• Signing and checking in orders
