Description:

OVERVIEW

The Food Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations within the food manufacturing plant. This position is responsible for ensuring that all food products meet safety and quality standards while managing staff and resources efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food safety regulations, mechanical knowledge related to food manufacturing, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS

  • Have proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a food manufacturing environment
  • Have experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Have strong knowledge of HACCP/GMP/JHSC
  • Advanced skills of MS Office
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
    Pay Rate: $60,000 - 65,000/annual
    Shift: Training will be on Day Shift, must be flexible for Afternoon Shift and Night Shift as official timing will be determined based on business needs.
    Shift Times are as follows:
    Day Shift: 7am - 3pm
    Afternoon: 3pm - 11pm
    Night: 11pm - 7am

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure production meets or exceeds efficiency and company safety and quality standards by following GMO regulations and the company’s SOP, SSOP’s and work instructions.
  • Manage inventory levels, including packaging materials and raw ingredients, to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Onboard and train new employees on the process, and working with the Quality team to ensure product quality is in alignment with customer requirement.
  • Manage workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize production efficiency and resolve any operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate records related to production processes, inventory, and compliance with health regulations.
