Requirements:

  • 2 years’ previous related food service experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive working knowledge of food preparation
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt and change in a fast paced environment
  • Good team work approach to daily tasks
  • Able to follow oral and written directions
  • Be able to lift 30 Lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check
Responsibilities
  • Ensures the team provides exceptional guest service at all times
  • Leads, motivates, and trains team members
  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure smooth service period
  • Execute recipes to the letter and assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served
  • Portions food products prior to cooking according to recipe specifications
  • Prepares food by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, washing, peeling. cutting, and shredding fruits and vegetables, and trimming and cutting meat, poultry, or fish for culinary use
  • Follows all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Follows and completes production sheets, manages inventory, prepares the order for approval
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to meet deadlines in completion of daily workload
  • Set up and tear down of workstation
  • Polite and professional communication style
  • May select recipes per menu cycle, prepare bakery items, and receive inventory
  • Understands and utilizes FIFO
  • Performs other related duties as requested by the leadership team
