Toby’s Family Foods is NOW HIRING for Food Production Team Members in Springfield, Oregon! Toby’s Family Foods is looking to expand our existing team with highly dependable team players. If you are looking for a position with flexibility and don't mind hard work this could be the right fit for you! The best candidates for this position are self-motivated and reliable individuals with a keen eye for detail. Food Production Position: This position can be physically demanding, so candidates must have the ability to remain on their feet for hours at a time and work in a fast-paced environment. Production operates Monday - Friday with scheduled hours falling between 6am-7pm. The schedule may vary from week to week based on our production schedule but employees will typically receive 30-40 hours a week. A Food Production Team Member at Toby’s will be expected to: Create and maintain a positive, efficient, and hygienic working environment Accurately record batch information on applicable forms Sort and inspect a variety of raw materials Carefully follow recipes and work instructions Operating machinery with a high degree of safety and accuracy at all times Remove, stack, and accurately track finished product Pack, palletize, and verify finished product orders Follow verbal and written instructions as given by Shift Leads and Managers Assist in daily clean-up Occasionally assist the sanitation team when needed Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50lbs regularly Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to stand and maintain efficiency for the entire shift Must be comfortable twisting, bending, and kneeling

Responsibilities

Team members are responsible for maintaining a positive, efficient, and hygienic work area while accurately recording batch information and carefully following recipes and work instructions. Duties also include operating machinery safely, inspecting raw materials, and handling finished product packaging and order verification.
