Summary: The Food Runner/Busser ensures that our guests receive exceptional service by efficiently delivering food and beverages to tables, assisting with table settings, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Duties & Responsibilities: Sell and serve food and beverages safely Impress guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner Set up tables and ensure cleanliness of linen, silverware, and glassware Clean tables including removal of and proper placement of soiled wares and trash Know the menu and be able to explain ingredients and preparation methods Report all tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations Prepare station prior to opening, keep station neat and clean while serving guests, and clean station at end of shift Requirements Qualifications: Professional and positive attitude towards guests and associates Be knowledgeable on hotel facility and services to assist guests Customer service Process checks and payments in compliance with policies and procedures Communication skills Work in a fast-paced environment Stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds High school education or related experience Benefits: Competitive salary Annual review with increase potential 401k program with company match Additional benefits may be available Arbor’s Guiding Principles: Arbor Lodging focuses on Five Guiding Principles to foster a culture where growth, development, and progression thrive within the properties: Do the Right Thing - Operate and act with integrity in all you do even when it is not convenient.
