A restaurant expo, or expeditor, serves as an intermediate between customers and the kitchen staff. This position plays a significant role in our company, given that customer satisfaction depends heavily on how good he or she is at the job. This is a position that requires the individual to be both an independent decision-maker and a team player simultaneously. There are several responsibilities to fulfill as a restaurant expo. Flexible shifts and schedules available. Full and part-time available. RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES INCLUDE: * Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately * Uphold sanitation and food safety principles * Ensuring the efficient flow of orders from the waiters to the kitchen * Ensuring orders are being prepared with the correct priority * Assisting in the final preparation of dishes * Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory * Relay reports on customer satisfaction with the management and relevant parties * Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food * Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins, etc * Handling various impromptu requests from customers REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or GED * Ability to pass pre-employment (post offer) background check. * Can communicate effectively in English * Open availability and flexible schedule for demanding hours. * Legally authorized to work in the U.S. * An upbeat and friendly attitude * Trustworthy and reliable * Commitment to excellent customer service * Able to handle working in a fast-paced environment * Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time * Able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 25 pounds or more PERKS: * Full-time employees can take advantage of medical, dental and vision benefits. * Discount employee meal * Time and half pay on six major holidays * Competitive wages * Room for advancement OHM Concession Group is committed to positively impacting the lives of our Associates, Families and Business Partners.
