Position: Runner
Reports to: Head Waiter, Floor Supervisor
Reporting Structure: General Manager ,Assistant General Manager,Restaurant Manager

SUMMARY:

A food runner is responsible for delivering the food from the kitchen to a customer in a restaurant, runner
also handing the order to the chef, double checking orders, matching the food ticket to the waiter.

• Ensure a customer is receiving the correct order
• Double check the order before it goes to a customer
• Organize food tickets for the chefs
• Place silverware on a table
• Clean off a table after customers have left
• Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct customer
• Answer any questions from customers
• Refill customer drinks as needed
