Description Food Runner Sunset, SC Description Food Runner Sunset, SC Job Type Part-time/Full-time Job Description: Continuously upholds The Reserve at Lake Keowee’s mission, values, and service expectations in everyday work performance. Part-Time 30hrs per week Wednesday to Sunday 4pm to close Essential Job Functions: Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the waiters to the kitchen Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority Assist in the final preparation of dishes ( garnish, set-up) Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature Coordinate pickup and deliver orders to maintain fast service Eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines or dishwashing Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation and safety standards and assist in cleaning Transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff (e.g. when a customer has a particular request) Handle complaints from clients to preserve the restaurant’s reputation Support other tasks as needed (e.g. telephone orders) Requirements Requirements Supervisory Responsibility: none Work Environment: While working the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The work environment is friendly and professional and can be busy, fast- paced and energetic. Work environment is exposed to cleaning chemicals and solutions on a daily basis. Physical Demands: Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length. Must have good sense of balance, be able to bend, kneel and have ability to frequently maneuver trays weighing up to 45 pounds. Server must have the ability to lift furniture, and banquet equipment. Must be able to walk and have full range of mobility. Travel: No travel is expected for this position Required Education and Experience: Proven experience as food expeditor or other restaurant positionUnderstanding of health and safety rules in a restaurant. Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Must have dependable transportation. Work Authorization/Security Clearance (If applicable): Background check required as well as United States authorization to work.
