M. Peppers is an exciting neighborhood French bistro in the Tyler Park area of the Highlands. Focusing on traditional French cookery with local ingredients and a concentration on French and American wine and classic cocktails that pair harmoniously together. Overview: We are looking for an experienced food runner/ server assistant to provide exceptional hospitality, impeccable service, guide guests through our menu and wine list, and ensure a seamless dining experience. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, a great attitude, and a passion for food and wine. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guest tables quickly and accurately * Confirm that orders are complete, correct, and visually appealing before serving * Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery * Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables as needed * Ensure the expo line and pass are clean, stocked, and organized * Handle guest requests and relay messages to appropriate team members * Support servers during busy shifts to ensure seamless service * Follow all food safety and sanitation standards WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: * Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred but not required * Strong communication and organizational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks * Excellent customer service and teamwork skills * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays or plates safely * Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical Demands: * Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods. * Lifting up to 40 lbs unassisted. * Working in a busy, dynamic restaurant environment with temperature variations.
