Food Runner The Cake Bake Shop at Carmel City Center is currently seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our team as Food Runners. This position will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of food from the kitchen to the dining room and bar area, providing unparalleled customer service to our guests, and ensuring they have a magical experience. The Food Runner works closely with the Savory Team and the FOH Team to coordinate and act as a liaison for any guest facing needs that may arise. Core Objectives of the Role (this list is not all inclusive) : * Picks up food products for orders placed by the service staff and delivers the meal to our guests. * Assists the kitchen and service staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimize our guests dining experience. * Assists the hosts with clearing and resetting tables * Assists the servers with running side work * Accomplishes all job duties while adhering to all safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift. * Reports any unsafe condition, unsafe act, accidents and/or injuries to the chef or other manager on duty. * Correctly completes closing duties at the end of each shift. * Completes all side work in the front and/or back of the house as assigned and scheduled by the members of the management team. Requirements: * Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required * Effective communication and customer service skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Reliable and punctual * Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs

Responsibilities
