Description Food Runner Èlephante – Santa Monica, CA $17.81 per hour + tips Èlephante is hiring Food Runners to join our team at our iconic Santa Monica rooftop restaurant. Èlephante is known for its high-energy atmosphere, coastal Italian cuisine, and one of the busiest dining rooms on the Westside. Our food runners play a critical role in delivering dishes quickly and accurately while maintaining a polished and professional dining experience for every guest. We are looking for team members who are energetic, detail-oriented, and thrive in fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environments. What We’re Looking For Previous food runner, busser, or restaurant support experience preferred Experience in high-volume restaurants strongly preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work quickly and efficiently during busy services Positive attitude and strong sense of urgency Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry multiple plates Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Responsibilities Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately Ensure dishes are presented correctly and match the ticket before leaving the kitchen Communicate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth service Describe dishes when delivering food to guests Assist servers with clearing plates and maintaining table presentation when needed Maintain organization and cleanliness of expo and service areas Assist with opening and closing side work Compensation & Benefits $17.81 per hour + tips Flexible scheduling Opportunities for growth within a growing hospitality group Employee dining benefits Join a team that prides itself on teamwork, strong service standards, and delivering memorable guest experiences every night.
