JOB OVERVIEW

The Food Safety Compliance Coordinator will ensure that all growing, harvesting, packing, and shipping activities meet or exceed federal, state, and industry food safety standards. This role will be responsible for maintaining compliance with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), USDA and FDA regulations, and all third-party audit requirements. This position requires both administrative and field-based work and close collaboration across departments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in food safety compliance within agriculture, preferably produce or grape handling-
• Strong knowledge of FSMA, USDA GAP/GHP, HACCP, and FDA food safety standards
• Experience managing or supporting third-party audits (e.g., PrimusGFS, GLOBALG.A.P.)
• Data organization, and report preparation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

• Fieldwork in farming environments with exposure to weather
• Time spent in warehouse/packinghouse environments with seasonal fluctuations
• May require extended hours during peak harvest

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
