BH Food Group is committed to producing safe, high-quality bakery and coffee products. We are seeking a dedicated Food Safety / QA Specialist to oversee quality control, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and support continuous improvement in our production processes.
Position: Full-Time Food Safety / QA Specialist
Schedule: Monday–Friday (weekends & holidays off)
Compensation: Competitive; determined during interview
Probation: 3 months

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree or diploma in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or related field
• Previous experience in QA or food safety roles preferred
• Knowledge of HACCP, CFIA, GFSI, and other food safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

• Develop, implement, and monitor food safety and QA programs
• Conduct inspections and audits of production processes
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, GFSI, and CFIA requirements
• Train and support staff in food safety and quality standards
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions
