We have an opportunity for a Food Safety and Quality Manager to join Doyles Veg Prep. This role is responsible for providing Food Safety & Quality support at each area of Production; Storage and Transport; including supplier, processing, product management.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Science/ Food Science Qualification Essential
• Min 3-5 years technical Quality management experience
• HACCP/Food Safety Management systems knowledge.
• Experience in implementing and managing QMS
• Flexibility, quick learner, problem solver, good communication and good organisational skills.
• Full Driver’s License and access to own car is required
• Approved to work in the EU.

• Implementation, and Management of Food Safety Management Systems in accordance with current legislation, and to prescribed standards.
• Lead internal HACCP team and management of standards through internal auditing programme.
• Co-ordination with Regulatory Authorities (HSE, FSAI) / Legal compliance, including regulatory, 3rd party and customer audits and inspections.
• Management of supplier and product approval protocol
• Ensure alignment of Management Team with FS&Q objectives
• Definition and Management of finished product quality
• Conduct Audits of FSMS compliance and resolve issues with the team
• Ensure Food Safety training requirements are up to date. Managing the review of food safety training materials to ensure training programmes meet standard requirements.
• Satisfactory resolution of FSQ operational issues and Consumer Complaints
• Ensuring site hygiene, and pest control standards are maintained.
• Reporting on FSQ performance against targets.
