Description The Rainbow Tavern is Mt. Hood Brewing Co.'s newest location in Maupin, Oregon. Maupin is located on the Lower Deschutes River at the crossroads between central and eastern Oregon and the Columbia River Gorge. Visit the Rainbow Tavern for hearty food and refreshing drinks after a fun day rafting, fishing, cycling, or hunting. Serve drinks and food, keep restaurant area fully stocked. Maintain a sanitary environment as described by the Health Department. Ensure work station is clean. Essential Functions Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed, according to company policy. Ensure daily reports IDT sheets, spoilage sheets, invoices are properly filled out and routed. Maintain prep and par stock at adequate levels in accordance with projected business levels.. Maintain sanitation quality to meet Health Department standards. Alert Supervisor or Manager of any maintenance concerns. Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace. Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present. Regular and reliable attendance. Requirements Must be service oriented. Must be detail oriented with ability to set and meet high customer service standards. Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests. Must have detailed knowledge of menu offerings. Must be proficient in up-selling of products and services. Must know and follow all proper service and reservation procedures. Must have valid OLCC and Oregon Food Handlers permit. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling. Must be able to work in tight space with balance and poise. Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.

Responsibilities

The food server is responsible for serving food and drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary restaurant environment. They must also manage cash handling procedures and ensure that inventory levels are properly stocked.
