ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Food Services Assistants (FSAs) for placements at aged care facilities. FSAs play a key role in supporting meal preparation, service, and kitchen hygiene. You will ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and enjoyable meals while maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in plating and serving meals to residents based on individual dietary requirements
• Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks
• Deliver food trays to residents and assist with setup during mealtimes
• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas
• Maintain accurate documentation such as food temperature logs and cleaning schedules
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols at all times
• Assist with stock rotation, unpacking deliveries, and general kitchen organisation
• Interact respectfully and compassionately with residents and staff
