We’re Freddie’s – a brand-new ice cream parlour open inside the vibrant Ormskirk Food & Drink Market. Known for our delicious soft serve and fun seasonal specials, we’re bringing something sweet, exciting, and totally Instagrammable to the market. Freddie’s is all about fun, flavour, and feel-good vibes – and we’re looking for a passionate and proactive Supervisor to run the shop and help bring our vision to life.

THE ROLE

As a Food Assistant at Freddie’s, you’ll support the team in delivering a smooth, efficient, and exciting customer experience. From preparing and serving delicious desserts to keeping the parlour spotless and organised, your role is vital to the day-to-day running of the shop.
This is an ideal role for someone who loves working with people, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in great presentation and service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the preparation and serving of soft serve and other menu items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in both customer-facing and prep areas.
• Support the team with opening/closing duties and daily checklists.
• Carry out food safety and temperature checks as required.
• Restock supplies, manage inventory rotation, and ensure displays are tidy and appealing.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Follow hygiene, allergen, and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with cleaning duties and ensure all equipment is cared for properly.
• Be a team player – always ready to help out wherever needed.
