Job Details Job Location: Bridger Bowl - Bozeman, MT 59715 Position Type: Seasonal Salary Range: $19.00 - $19.00 Hourly Job Shift: Hourly + Tips Job Category: Food & Beverage SUMMARY: Support daily food service operations by processing sales transactions, delivering excellent customer service, bussing tables, restocking supplies, receiving deliveries, and maintaining cleanliness and waste disposal procedures. PRIMARY DUTIES: Set up lodges and prepare facilities for daily operations. Manage customer flow within buildings to ensure a smooth experience. Maintain accurate sales records and ensure security of money and compliance with pricing policies. Stock restrooms, service counters, displays, and janitorial supplies throughout the day. Monitor supply levels and report inventory needs to supervisors. Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking deliveries. Follow proper procedures for sorting, storing, and transporting compost, waste, and recycling. Clean cafeterias, public areas, and lodge exteriors throughout each shift; maintain cleaning and disinfecting logs. Empty and maintain garbage and recycling containers; pick up litter regularly. Clean carpets and floors as needed. Refill hand sanitizer dispensers in designated areas. Secure lodge entrances and ensure building security after hours. Perform other duties as assigned. Contribute to Bridger Bowl's sustainability goals through daily practices. SUPERVISION: Supervision Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Supervision Received: Works under the supervision of the Food Service Supervisors. Receive assignments as directed, with clear expectations, available guidance, and periodic performance reviews as needed or during check-ins. Employee Ski Day QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS, AND ADDITIONAL INFO: PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in food service, customer service, and/or knowledge of the restaurant industry. Experience in cash handling and POS systems. Excellent communication skills. Positions at the Deer Park Chalet and Alpine Cabin require possession of ski equipment and the ability to ride a chairlift, ski at Level II (intermediate) and ski in dark conditions from the Deer Park Chalet to the base area. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Outdoors: Regularly work in wet, cold, quickly changing winter conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces. Exposure: Are frequently exposed to contaminants, such as cleaning supplies. Are often exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting and uncomfortable. Sometimes it requires work in extremely bright or inadequate lighting. Work physically near others throughout the shift. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS: Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend or be on your feet for extended periods of time. Be capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs. Requires the ability to learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, communicate effectively with coworkers and visitors, handle stressful situations and upset customers, and completing tasks independently and efficiently.
