YOUR TOP RESPONSIBILITIES You will assist with overseeing kitchen operations at the Changing Lives Center (Saturday–Sunday) and the Transforming Lives Center (Monday–Tuesday). You will coordinate with the Supervisor on the preparation, production, and delivery of meals using established procedures and processes. You will be responsible for meal production and quality control, ensuring all food served on campus meets established standards. You will receive and process GIK food donations in collaboration with the Supervisor, with strong attention to detail and stewardship. You will serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day kitchen activities involving clients and volunteers, ensuring compliance with menus, sanitation, personal hygiene, and health standards. You will train program clients and Ministry Trainees in operational kitchen functions, including proper food handling, inventory management, and supply use. You will maintain accurate food and supply inventories and order items as needed to ensure meals are completed timely and accurately. You will communicate operational needs, challenges, and deficiencies to the Supervisor and collaborate on solutions. You will coordinate with Facilities, IT, and other departments regarding equipment, space, and volunteer needs. You will ensure consistent compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food preparation and handling techniques. You will lead or participate in devotions, prayers, and other organizational activities that promote a credible Christian witness and lifestyle. Requirements WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE You have a High School diploma or equivalent. You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a food production or kitchen environment. You have knowledge of food handling protocols. You possess ServSafe Food Management Certification or are able to obtain within 60 days of employment. You have the ability to organize efficiently and effectively, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner. You have effective oral and written communication skills. You have excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability of coordinating activities and others and the ability to relate to a variety of people in a responsible and cooperative manner. You have the ability to efficiently coordinate PRM resources, working effectively with management, staff, and volunteers. You are a self-starter with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing client and volunteer staffing. You must be reliable and punctual. You must meet and maintain the requirements of being an approved driver of PRM vehicle for PRM business. You have a solid and credible Christian witness and lifestyle that exemplifies Christ in character and actions.
