V-Tech Solutions, Inc., is seeking food service coordinators to manage the operation and performance of food services provided to patients and staff at Saint Elizabeth Hospital, Washington, DC.

Requirements:

  • Required to work two (2) weekend per month and work one (1) evening shift per week. In order to monitor staff working both shifts.
  • Must possess a ServSafe Food Handler Manager Certificate and a DC License

• Minimum Education: High School education or GED • Minimum of two (2) year of Supervisory experience

  • Be able to demonstrate proficiency in oral, written communications and interpersonal skills, appropriate to professional food workers services settings during the performance of Contract.
  • Perform simple math
  • Must be able to write and type notes using basic computer skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct and coordinate the activities of production contractors (Food Attendants) in order to prepare and deliver finished food product to clients.
  • Receiving and managing food production activities of contractors
  • Ensures appropriate sanitation standards and requirements are met.
  • Ensures procedural compliance in support of workplace safety.
  • Monitor Tray line activities.
  • Contractor shall be in compliance with the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HAACP)/Sanitation.
  • Ensures compliance with standards, procedures and specifications
  • Food Service Coordinator shall monitor and evaluate Food Attendants of work assignments.
  • Shall be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Shall be able to work in a cold/hot environment. (Walk-in Refrigerators and Freezers) Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital shall provide Personal Protection Equipment (i.e. jackets) to Contractors for extreme climate conditions.)
