We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Director to join our team at Garafalo Markets. This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of food service operations, ensuring quality production and exceptional customer satisfaction at all our locations. • Oversee daily food service operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage food production processes to maintain high quality and efficiency.
• Lead and train staff in food preparation, cooking, and service standards.
• Develop menus that meet customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Ensure exceptional customer service through effective staff management and training.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes for food supplies.
• Implement best practices in food safety and sanitation across all operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall store performance.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in food service management or a similar role within the retail or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• In-depth knowledge of food production, safety standards, and culinary practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems is preferred.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
