Join our team as a Food Service Host! As a Food Service Host, you’ll be the friendly face that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Your role is all about creating a warm, welcoming environment, greeting guests, assisting with seating, and ensuring service runs smoothly. This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week across five days, with 8-hour shifts scheduled from 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. You’ll work alternating weekends and share holiday coverage, with time off for holidays granted on a first-come, first-served basis. There’s no floating, travel, or on-call requirement, just a consistent schedule and the chance to make every guest feel valued! Responsibilities: Adheres to hand hygiene and infection control procedures on a consistent basis when interacting with customers. Adheres to department procedures regarding the operation of all food service equipment. Communicates customer complaints and concerns effectively with other health care team members. Performs sanitation for assigned work area in accordance with departmental procedures and health department guidelines. Serves patient meal tray using the designated department script, to include proper patient identification. Distributes and collects menus from patients; obtains selected menus from patients according to departmental procedures. Displays customer service skills when responding to meal service requests, resulting in a satisfied customer. Serves meals within established timeframes, adhering to departmental standards for appearance, food quality, and temperature control. Work permit required if under 18 years old.
