Title: Food Service Lead Cook Job Type: Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Nutrition & Food Service Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: The Food Service Lead Cook prepares and cooks food for all food services spaces, including but not limited to patient feeding, catering and retail operations in a safe and sanitary manner. Assists Culinary Supervisor and department manager with coordinating the activities of cooks and food service workers. Assists with retail menu development, recipe development, catered function planning. Coaches/trains Food Service Cooks. Starting hourly rate is $24.18 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience 1. Associate’s Degree or Certification in a related field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as a cook in a large scale food service operation; or 2. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience as a cook in a large scale food service operation. NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices. Responsibilities

The Food Service Lead Cook prepares and cooks food for various food service areas, ensuring safety and sanitation. They assist in coordinating activities of cooks and food service workers and contribute to menu and recipe development.
