Mmm Donuts • Café & Bakery in Barrie is looking for a Manager to join our 39 person strong team who loves donuts!
We are located on 240 Bayview Drive where our magic happens and we have our Georgian Mall Location at 509 Bayfield St. We are looking for a responsible, efficient, organized and very friendly Manager to join our team. Our ideal candidate would also be attentive, ambitious, and engaged.
This position would be spilt between the two locations. Our manager’s overall role is to communicate organizational needs, oversee employees’ performance, provide guidance, support, identify development needs, and manage the reciprocal relationship between staff and the organization so that each is successful.

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

  • Train employees and monitor operations to ensure customers expectations are exceeded
  • Manage employees to provide exceptional food quality in a timely and cost effective method
  • Manage vendor services to maintain appropriate quantities and quality of product
  • Budget and monitor inventory, labour and restaurant costs to improve overall profitability
  • Implement health and safety protocols
  • Greet customers and make them feel at home
  • Answer any questions the customers may have
  • Assist Customers in preparing their orders
  • Clean work area as needed to maintain a tidy work environment
  • Respond to all complaints in a friendly and professional manner and bring to Managers’ attention
  • Delegating daily tasks to staff
  • Filling in for other departments

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Friendly attitude even when dealing with disgruntled employees and/or customers
  • Responsible and proven ability to maintain scheduling commitments
  • Reliable transportation is a strong requirement.
  • Ability to problem solve quickly concerns customers may have
  • Good communication skills with customers
  • Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
  • Able to manage and lead a team to success
  • Bakery experience preferred
  • Management experience
