Personal Touch Food Service, Inc. is looking for a passionate, driven individual to join our team as a Manager in Training. This is your opportunity to build real management skills in a supportive environment — with a direct path to running your own account. About the Role As a Manager in Training, you'll work alongside experienced food service leaders across all areas of our operations — from kitchen production and menu development to staff supervision and client relations. Our structured, 90–180 day rotational program is designed to fast-track your growth from culinary professional to confident manager. This is a full-time position operating during the school year, giving you a consistent, predictable schedule aligned with our educational food service accounts. What You'll Do Kitchen & Operations • Lead and assist in daily meal production, following established menus and quality standards • Rotate through all kitchen and service stations to master every aspect of operations • Ensure food safety, HACCP compliance, and ServSafe standards are upheld at all times Team Leadership • Shadow managers in scheduling, coaching, and directing kitchen and front-of-house staff • Run pre-shift meetings and help onboard new team members • Build a positive, collaborative team culture every day Culinary Creativity • Collaborate on seasonal menus and new recipe development • Bring fresh ideas that reflect current food trends and meet client needs • Support themed events and special dining experiences Business & Client Relations • Learn food and labor cost management to hit budgetary goals • Assist with ordering, inventory, and vendor coordination • Build strong relationships with on-site client contacts and respond to their feedback Requirements What We're Looking For • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management — preferred • 1–2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant setting • A natural leader who's eager to learn and grow • Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude • ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
Responsibilities
