QUALIFICATIONS
· A minimum of 1-2 years food service experience would be an asset
· Solid knowledge of food service principals, processes, procedures, policies, directives and guidelines
· Good proficiency and experience with word processing (MS Word), spreadsheets (MS Excel), company software and database programs
· Ability to maintain confidentiality where mandated or required, particularly as it relates to company business, financial and employee / HR information
· Solid knowledge of customer service skills to ensure excellent customer service to client and customers
· Ability to lead, co-ordinate and supervise the completion of work, providing day-to-day oversight; to make recommendations into the hiring, performance evaluation and discipline of staff
· Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate
· Current CPR, First Aid and WHMIS Training would be an asset
· Successful Police Check will be required
· Provides excellent customer service, in a Cafeteria Style unit, reinforcing and leading by example; addresses customer complaints in a professional manner
· Assists with the preparation of all food and beverage and service to customers
· Ensures areas are safe, clean and well-organized to meet all customer, client and company needs
· Ensures procedures for safe food storage, handling and preparation as outlined by Health & Safety Food regulations
· Maintains inventory levels and ensures stock of organized and rotated
· Prepares and completes all daily cash reconciliation reports
· May assist in conducting monthly Workplace Health & Safety Inspections; completes all reports
· Ensures that staff orientation, training and development activities, including Health & Safety training are according to policy, procedure and guidelines
· Adheres to all Polices and Procedures
· Performs other duties as assigned
