We’re looking for Food Service Technicians to prepare and perform duties to maintain a quality Food Service Kitchen. Who we are: Kids Junction Preschool Learning Center has been faithfully serving families in the Madison area through daycare and education since 2004. About the job: Food Preparation: For both the Junction Square and Kids Junction locations, prepare for meal and snacks by getting counts and preparing carts with necessary supplies. Prep food each day according to the menu prior to service. Food Service: Prepare and serve food to all classrooms according to specified food safety guidelines. Kitchen maintenance: Ensure all dishes are cleaned; food, drink and condiments are stored appropriately; and kitchen is clean and sanitized. **Core Hours for this role are M-F 9:00am-3:30pm with flexibility for adding on before/after shift as needed* We’re Looking for Team Members Who: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent Have 1+ year of food service experience – preferred Have experience working with school-age children (ages 5-14) – preferred Have the ability to foster teamwork and thrive in a collaborative environment Have a desire to make a difference in children’s lives Demonstrate good communication skills and are skilled in remaining composed and effective in challenging situations High level attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work under general supervision Perks of the Job: Flexible schedule – NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS!
