Job Description Job Title: Food Service Worker // Cook Shift Hours: - Cook (37.5hrs) 5am –1 pm (5 days/every other weekend) x1 Food Service Worker (37.5hrs) 1. 11am – 7 pm (5 days/every other weekend) x2 2. 5am –1 pm (5 days/every other weekend) x2 Max Payrate: $13.50/hr. on W2 / 1099 Address: Glasgow, KY 42141 Client: Commonwealth of KY Duties Include: Under direction from Cooks, wash, clean & prepare fruits & vegetables for meals and snacks. Prepares gravies, dressings, sauces, and soups. Serve meals in dining room and units at designated times. Assist in preparing salad, desserts and beverages. Dishwashing and pot scrubbing as assigned. Transport food cart to resident area. Collect food cart and dishes returning to kitchen for sanitation. Stock resident units with proper dietary supplies, ensuring within date, and monitor refrigerator temps per guidelines. Cleans & maintain dining & kitchen areas. Disposes of trash. Sets up dining tables. Retrieve supplies from storage as needed. Follow all facility policies and procedures. Responsibilities

The food service worker and cook will prepare meals, sauces, and beverages while ensuring dining areas are clean and sanitized. They are also responsible for transporting food carts to resident areas and maintaining dietary supply stock.
