PART-TIME - Monday-Friday- No Weekends- Holidays Off- PTO- 401 K Who is The Nutrition Group? We are a full-service food and facilities management company founded in 1975. The Nutrition Group’s family of support services includes K-12 Meal Services, Commissary, Custodial and Maintenance Management, Business and Industry, and Consulting. Currently, we operate in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, South Carolina and Virginia. About the Job: This position will be working in a local production/commercial kitchen. Duties may include: * Cooking and food preparation * Portioning and packaging meals * Sanitation in conjunction with USDA and state guidelines. * HAACP and health department regulation compliance * Assisting to monitor costs and inventory controls. Qualifications: * A positive and consistent work ethic * Reliable transportation to and from work * A willingness to learn and grow within your position * Food service experience preferred * Ability to do basic math and read recipes * Computer literacy preferred * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Background check required Physical Requirements May Include: * Standing for long periods of time * Sitting, pushing, pulling * Lifting up to and in excess of 40lbs * Walking The Nutrition Group is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment for all qualified applicants.
