The Food Service position will perform basic kitchen/food service duties, including but not limited to cashier services, food preparation, dining area upkeep, dishwashing, maintaining sanitary and clean conditions, etc. This is a 10-Month general staff position reporting the Assistant Director of Food Service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, be productive with minimal supervision, and have a good attendance record
• Must wear dark slacks and slip resistant shoes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A high school diploma or equivalencyTwo years food services experience
• 
  HOURS OF OPERATION: AM Shift - Monday – Friday (6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) *

PM Shift- (Monday- Thursday, 10:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m, Saturday or Sunday)*

• Hours may vary to meet the needs of the department

The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Must be vigilant in cleaning and organizing your assigned area.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in food preparation and food serving areas.
• Empty and clean trash containers, dispose of food and trash in a sanitary manner.
• Sweep and mop kitchen, serving, and dining areas.
• Duties within our department may change based on the need of the department. Duties may include but are not limited to:
• Cashier services
• Food preparation
• Dining area upkeep
• Dishwashing and custodial care
• Maintain a professional work environment, and abide by NWCC rules and policies.

Any and all other duties as assigned by the Food Service management staff.
