Nature and Scope The Food Service Worker (FSW) assists the Cook in variety of tasks related to the preparation and serving of food and assembling patient trays per Patient Diet Order. The FSW duties include, but are not limited to, the following: operates dishwasher and other mechanical equipment; stocks and records necessary supplies; general cleaning both per posted schedule and as needed; maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen per state and federal guidelines; and performing general department duties as requested and needed. Must be able and willing to work a split shift and week-ends. Location We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy, CA 95971. Compensation Compensation Philosophy: We have 6 pay increments on our pay scales to compensate staff for 6 years of relevant experience. Compensation range: $18.63- $23.78 Job Status / Shift Information The schedule need is for AM and PM shifts and the availbilty statues for this position consists of: Full-time, benefited Part-time, benefited Limited part-time, non-benefited Qualifications Education: Obtain a California Food Handler Card within three (3) months of hire date. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to speak, read, write and follow verbal and written directions in English. Must be able to work well with people and be willing to learn. Knowledge of kitchen equipment. Must demonstrate a willingness to learn therapeutic diet guidelines, and general quantity and quality food preparation.
