Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America) Key Responsibilities: Assemble and deliver patient meal trays according to prescribed diets. Prepare and portion food items following standardized recipes and safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food service areas, equipment, and utensils. Stock supplies and monitor inventory levels. Assist in dishwashing and waste disposal processes. Follow infection control procedures and food safety regulations. Interact courteously with patients, staff, and visitors. Document food temperatures and cleaning logs as required. Support special dietary needs and requests under supervision of dietary staff. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous food service experience, especially in healthcare, is a plus. Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Strong customer service and communication skills. Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Work Environment: Fast-paced healthcare setting with exposure to food preparation areas. Requires wearing PPE and adherence to hygiene protocols.
