We currently have exciting opportunities for Casual – Food Service Workers to join our team at Royal Columbian Hospital located in New Westminster, B.C. We hire great people for outstanding jobs and need your help to expand the ability to deliver prompt and professional service.

• Assembles and sets ups meal trays with items according to information printed on patient’s meal ticket; loads and unloads meal wagons; delivers and picks up meal trays from the patient’’s room.
• Makes beverages and food items such as tea, coffee, and toast; assembles items such as sandwiches and salads.
• Washes, peels and stores vegetables and fruit.
• Cleans soiled dishes and utensils; stores cleaned dishes, trays and utensils in the appropriate areas.
• Performs cleaning duties such as sweeping and damp mopping floors, cleaning counter tops, sinks, machines and equipment and spot washing walls; removes garbage as required.
• Collects stores requisitions from various areas and distributes supplies to the appropriate areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned
