FOOD SERVICE WORKER

Location: Tipton Rosemark Academy
Zest Culinary Services is seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team at Tipton Rosemark Academy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work following the school calendar. Please note: The hired team member will be employed by Tipton Rosemark, not Zest Culinary Services.
In this role, you’ll interact directly with students and faculty, so a friendly attitude and strong sense of southern hospitality are essential.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1 year of cashier experience in a fast-paced food service environment
• Strong basic math skills and attention to detail
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Reliable, flexible, and a team player with a positive attitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Operate the cash register accurately and make correct change without overages or shortages
• Assist with food service line prep and setup
• Help in the kitchen with food and beverage stocking, cleaning, and general prep duties
• Pack food items and assist with meal service to ensure smooth and timely delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
