Responsibilities

THIS ROLE REQUIRES THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE TO BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON A 7-DAY ROTATING ROSTER, AM AND PM SHIFTS.

  • AM shift – 5:45am – 14.30pm
  • PM shifts - 14:30pm – 21:00pm and 16:30pm – 21:00pm

AS A FOOD SERVICES ASSISTANT, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Provide exceptional customer/patient service by preparing and serving food throughout the facility / designated area, including, setting up, plating, and distributing food and beverages and by participating in food safety processes
  • Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required
  • Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members and liaising with other staff to create an experience that makes a difference
  • Be comfortable working with equipment such as food trolleys and carrying food trays
