ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join the team at Gold Coast Private Hospital as a Food Services Assistant! We’re looking for experienced professionals to bring their skills to our team on a part-time basis (approximately 25 hours per week). • 1 x Store person (preferably with hotel experience)

THESE ROLES REQUIRE THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE TO BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON A 7-DAY ROTATING ROSTER, AM AND PM SHIFTS.

• AM shift – 5:45am – 14.30pm
• PM shifts - 14:30pm – 21:00pm and 16:30pm – 21:00pm

AS A FOOD SERVICES ASSISTANT, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Provide exceptional customer/patient service by preparing and serving food throughout the facility / designated area, including, setting up, plating, and distributing food and beverages and by participating in food safety processes
• Assist in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required
• Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team by promoting a professional and positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members and liaising with other staff to create an experience that makes a difference
• Be comfortable working with equipment such as food trolleys and carrying food trays

AS A STORE PERSON, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Inventory management – keeping track of stock levels ensuring sufficient supplies are available to meet hospital demands
• Stock rotation – ensure proper stock rotation to prevent spoilage or expiration of goods
• Keep storage area clean, tidy, and uncluttered to ensure efficient operation and safety
• Cleaning the coolroom floors
• Pot washing
• Provide exceptional service to hospital staff, assisting with queries and resolving issues related to inventory
