We are seeking a Food Service Assistant /Kitchen Hand for our Plumpton Villa Home in Glenroy to work on a Permanent Part time basis.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Food Service Assistant you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service and food safety.
You will play an important role in committing to working safely within your team and promoting a positive outlook on the wellbeing of our residents.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
  • Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
  • Ensure all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards
  • Understanding residents special dietary requirements
  • Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
  • Understand and execute infection control initiatives
