FSA’s are responsible for the preparation and delivery of meals, cleaning of food service areas, all whilst ensuring patient’s dietary needs are met accurately and efficiently. FSA’s contribute to patient care by ensuring meals are delivered on time, safely, accurately and with respect. Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):   Delivering and collecting meal trays and trolleys to and from service areas Regenerating and preparing meals in line with production and clinical needs, including special functions Cleaning and sanitising food trays, food preparation areas, and kitchen equipment Operating dishwashers and other food service equipment safely and efficiently Restocking pantries and trolleys; You have a passion for patient care and nutrition, ensuring patients are treated with respect and empathy. You are a reliable and punctual team member with great verbal and written communication skills; and intermediate computer skills. Whether you work independently or as part of a team; you always follow manual handling, safety protocols, and procedural instructions. It would be an advantage if you also have comprehensive understanding of diet codes, texture modified foods and fluids, food allergies and intolerances.
