As a Casual - Food Services Assistant, you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of our St Vincent's Care Services Heathcote. St Vincent's Care Services Heathcote (locally known as John Paul Village) is a 213 bed facility located 35km from Sydney's CBD. It is situated next to the Royal National Park, one of Sydney's real treasures! Things that work for us: Previous experience in a similar role Experience in an aged care facility or hospital environment desirable, providing services that support high quality food services outcomes for residents, customers and staff of the Facility High level of customer service skills Must have the availability to work AM/ PM shifts through weekdays. Willingness to work in the kitchen or on serving, completing wash-up duties, unloading deliveries &/or whatever is required to provide an excellent food service for our residents. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills An ability to provide a catering and kitchen service that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation, and food safety standards An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (valid within 6 months). NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
