As a Food Services Assistant your focus will be to deliver catering needs that meet nutritional and hydration needs, special requirements and preferences of our residents. Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be: * Performing basic food preparation tasks and cooking basic meals. * Preparing, presenting and serving / deliver food and refreshments, ensuring awareness of special needs for modified diets * Plating and presenting food in an appealing manner and to a high-quality visual standard according to individual requirements Requirements * Food Safety Certificate Level I (HLTFSE001) or progression towards the completion of a Food Safety Certificate * Previous experience working in a food services environment and/or at an aged care facility * Patience; common sense and a strong ethos of client service * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work within a team and to work with minimum supervision The successful incumbents will need to be available to work across a variety of shifts & days. Responsibilities

The primary focus is delivering catering needs that meet the nutritional, hydration, special requirements, and preferences of residents. This includes performing basic food preparation tasks and serving/delivering food and refreshments while being mindful of modified diets.
