Job Description Direct activities of the Community's Food Service department, providing quality food service and nutrition. Supervise food services staff. This is made-to-order dining at its finest. Seasonal and regional menus are ever-evolving, offering signature dishes and daily specials. And NO LATE NIGHTS means you will have more quality time to maintain a balanced life. Essential Duties: Implement policies and procedures, and provide administrative direction for menu formulation, food preparation and service, purchasing, sanitation standards, safety practices, and personnel utilization. Select, orient and coach professional food service staff, and help develop and direct departmental educational programs. Schedule all food service personnel. Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment. Supervise activities of workers engaged in food preparation and service. Formulate menus for special diets based on medical and physical condition of residents and integrates special menus with basic menus. Establish staffing schedule and monitor staffing. Qualifications Five (5) years of supervisory experience is required. Food service experience in hospitality, country club, and/or senior living industry preferred.
