Description Nampa Christian Schools, through a Christ-centered partnership with families and Churches, exists to glorify God with our HEART, HEAD, and HANDS. The Food Services Kitchen Lead will partner in the ministering to the student population through our food and nutrition services. Requirements Position Type: This position is a non-exempt, hourly, part-time position, and is year-round. Typical working hours are from 9:00 AM until 1:30 PM. Pay based on experience. Position Requirements: Have experience leading a small team or group in a food service or similar environment Have experience in kitchen prep, cooking, cleaning, and sanitization for large groups. Hold a current Food Handler’s license or will commit to completing the requirements for this license within the first 30 days of employment. Be able to stand for long periods. Be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Possess and demonstrate a reasonable level of computer literacy and proficiency. Be passionate about serving others, especially students, with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
The Kitchen Lead will manage a small team to prepare and serve meals for students in a school environment. Responsibilities include overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring efficient food service delivery.
