We are seeking a ‘people person’ with ambition to to join our Management team at our 3 star Hotel and Spa in Looe with Restaurant, Bistro and function facilities.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence all aspects of the operation and for someone seeking an opportunity to develop and grow with the business. There is considerable scope for further advancement.
Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the hotel, specifically focusing on the Bar and Restaurant areas and general standards of presentation and service.
- Ensure that all food items are served according to established standards and guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies.
- Train and supervise Food service and Bar staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in creating menus, planning special events, and implementing new food concepts.
- Maintain a clean and well presented environment.
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
