JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Develop and refine safe, stable, and cost-effective recipes for juices, cold desserts, dips, and fruit-based snacks.
2. Perform shelf-life, pH, and microbial stability tests to ensure product quality and safety.
3. Work closely with the Chef to balance technical formulation with flavor, texture, and visual appeal.
4. Participate in small-scale production trials, troubleshooting issues like oxidation, separation, and yield loss.
5. Adapt recipes for production equipment, timing, chilling/freezing processes, and workflow feasibility.
6. Ensure all products meet MESTI, HALAL, and internal food safety standards; assist in HACCP planning.
7. Prepare detailed formulation sheets, BOMs, and production SOPs; support training and onboarding for new items.
8. Keep up with food trends, cost-saving ingredients, and share knowledge through internal training sessions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or equivalent
• 2–4 years experience in food product development, preferably in fresh or cold production settings
• Knowledge of food preservation methods (natural stabilizers, pH control, minimal processing)
• Familiarity with MESTI, HALAL, HACCP, and quality documentation practices
• Comfortable working hands-on in production floor environments and adapting to practical constraints
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and cross-functional team player
