POSITION OVERVIEW:

Ready to bring the good vibes and great eats to our sun-soaked guests? As a Food Truck Bartender & Server at the North Park Pool, you’ll be serving up tasty bites, refreshing drinks, and top-tier hospitality—all from our fun, fast-paced food truck just steps from the pool. You’ll be the face of poolside dining, keeping the deck clean, the orders flowing, and the energy high.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, standing/walking for long stretches, and being active for most of the day.
  • Must be 18+ for alcohol service responsibilities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, or one (1) year of relevant experience in food and beverage service.
  • Some knowledge of beer and basic food service is a plus—but a great attitude and willingness to learn is even better!
Responsibilities

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Help get the food truck ready for action—stock supplies, prep your station, and keep everything clean and organized.
  • Greet pool-goers with a smile, take their orders quickly and accurately, and offer top-notch service.
  • Craft and serve drinks safely, responsibly, and with flair.
  • Know the menu like the back of your hand—be ready to answer questions, suggest fan favorites, and describe ingredients or prep methods.
  • Handle payments with ease using the POS system—no stress, just success.
  • Deliver food and drinks efficiently to guests lounging by the pool or waiting at the truck.
  • Keep service areas and condiment stations clean, stocked, and inviting throughout your shift.
  • Pitch in during closing time—restocking, cleaning, and getting things ready for the next sunny day.
  • Tackle guest concerns with a can-do attitude and loop in your supervisor if something bigger pops up.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and fun workspace.
  • Work as a team player—support your crew wherever needed to keep the poolside party rolling.
  • Other duties as assigned—flexibility is key in this high-energy setting!
