Kona Brewing Hawaii has an immediate opening for a Catering Team Member for our Food Truck in Hilo, Hawaii. This position reports to the General Manager.

• Must have open availability to include Friday, Saturday and Sunday and rotating schedule based on booked events.

• Serving Customers: Taking orders, handling cash and electronic payments and ensuring efficient and friendly service.
• Maintaining Food Quality and Safety: Ensuring food is stored and handled properly. Adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Preparing and Cooking Food: Following recipes, preparing ingredients and cooking menu items to order.
• Cleans and organizes expo area
• Restocks expo line before, during and after the shift
• Truck Operations and Maintenance:
• Cleaning and Maintenance. Keeping the truck clean both inside and out, including food preperation areas and ensuring all areas are safe.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring and replenishing supplies, potentially ordering new stock.
• Driving and Logistics: Driving the truck to events and ensuring it is fueled and maintained.
• Equipment Operation: Properly using and maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Other Potential Responsibilities:
• Teamwork: working with other staff members to ensure smooth service and a positive work environment.
• Following Instructions: Adhering to instructions from Supervisors and Managers.
• Adapting to Change Situations: Working effictively in a fast-paced environment and handling unexpected situations.
• Adheres to proper hygiene
• Other tasks as assigned
• Attendance is required per company policy
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees and guests to foster and promote a fun and harmonious working climate that maximizes morale, productivity and efficiency
