Eva’s Original Chimneys is BACK for the 2025 season, and we are looking for a full-time supervisor to join our food truck crew. Primary activities include supervising our food truck staff, making and baking cones, and serving Chimney Cones at our Downtown Location and our mobile unit, catering events across the city.
Must be available on weekends and willing to work in various locations across the city at times.

Must be able to work well under pressure with a team, in fast fast-paced environment, often while multitasking and in a small working space. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Passion for food and serving a fun, memorable experience. Very flexible: shifts can be weekdays, mostly weekends, full days & late nights, can be long hours.

(Professional)

• Experience in the restaurant industry and commercial kitchen.
• Experience as a supervisor is considered an asset.

Eva’s Original Chimneys (Eva’s) is a gourmet food truck. Eva’s specializes in a delicious, freshly baked Hungarian bread-like pastry known as Kurtoskalacs, or Chimney Cakes and Chimney Cones aka “Doughnut Cones”. Eva’s believes in serving food that is natural and wholesome as much as possible. Our vegan base dough is made daily from scratch with only seven all-natural and mostly organic ingredients. We then offer a variety of toppings and fillings. We bake our Chimneys fresh before our customers on a custom-made open rotisserie grill – a similar experience to the open grills on the streets of Budapest!

Responsibilities:

• Work in a fast-paced, high volume food truck greeting customers with the utmost care and a smile, having a thorough understanding of our menu, our product and our company.
• Baking, rolling and managing dough: rolling out dough (speed: 1 chimney/per minute), baking chimney cakes and cones (managing the grill and all orders), managing the quantity of dough to be made throughout the shift.
• Prep station: managing and sending out orders, filling all specialty orders, with a variety of fillings, toppings, ice cream, etc.
• Operate POS systems and ensure accurate cash and card transactions for customers.
• Cleaning & closing: cleaning workspace throughout shift and upon closing - carrying out heavy-duty cleaning tasks of the food truck and setting up for the following day.
• Maintain health and safety standards in work areas.
• Be professional, polite and reliable.
• Open and close the food truck, ensuring all systems and equipment are functional, including cleaning, setup/takedown, inventory and record-keeping.
• Teamwork is a must, contributing to quick and efficient service as well as positive team morale.
