Responsibilities

Sort and divert food waste into appropriate recycling or disposal streams.
While adhering to policies and procedures as well as regulatory compliance, load, unload, move, store, and pick products according to purchase orders on behalf of customers.
Execute warehouse standards, with a focus on accuracy, to achieve maximum productivity.
Operate powered equipment and other machinery as required in loading, unloading, movement and storage of products.
Safely operate forklifts to unload incoming food waste materials.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the unloading and sorting areas.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Accurately track and document incoming loads and diversion metrics.
Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow.
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Check the accuracy of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in work orders.
Perform product repacking activities.
Advise Supervisor of any issues that impact the productivity schedule and/or quality of the operation, as well as the health and safety of the employees.
Follow security, sanitation and general upkeep standards of warehouse
