Description

OFF THE EATEN TRACK IS HIRING!

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, and food-obsessed storyteller to join our team as a Part-Time Foodie Tour Guide. You’ll lead small groups through Victoria’s vibrant food scene, sharing fascinating stories about the city’s history, culture, and culinary community. This role is perfect for someone who loves people, thrives in a dynamic environment, and knows (or is excited to learn about) the best eats in the city.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for food, dining, and local culinary culture (bonus if you know the Victoria food scene well).
  • Outstanding communication and public speaking skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and able to connect with diverse groups of people.
  • Comfortable walking outdoors for 2–3 hours in various weather conditions.
  • Highly reliable and punctual.
  • Flexible schedule — tours often run on weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
  • Previous tour guiding, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset, but not required — we’ll train the right foodie!
  • Access to a mobile phone with local data.
  • Aged 19 and over.
