Actively follow the Service Standards to ensure all interactions follow the Lowes Foods behavioral expectations. Maintain product level, quality and freshness in accordance with the company’s stocking and rotation practices. Maintain organizational standards in accordance with the company’s 5S/Simplify practices. Maintain sanitation standards by properly cleaning equipment, workspaces, cases, utensils, or any other area that requires cleaning. Communicate guest requests to management. Maintain food safety protocols in accordance with established governmental and company practices. Maintain supply and sanitation standards within all dining areas including, but not limited to, emptying trash, sweeping floors, refilling condiments. Take guest orders and process transactions. Prepare product for sale (expediting, packaging, cutting, slicing, weighing, and pricing). Deliver in-store food orders to the guest’s location. Cross-train in multiple areas of Foodservice including, but not limited to, order taking, sandwich and salad making, register operation, slicer operation, order fulfillment. Performs front porch duties to ensure “guest arrival” standard is maintained. Announce specials and sale info on the PA system. Assist in product receiving and storage. Perform all other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Friendly, outgoing personality. Ability to work well with others. Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally. Ability to read and understand information and direction. Effective communication, guest service and selling skills. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time. #LI-KG1
Responsibilities
The Foodservice Clerk is responsible for ensuring polite and friendly interactions with guests and maintaining product quality and sanitation standards. They will also take guest orders, prepare products for sale, and assist in various foodservice areas.
